The government has been making a lot of public data available on data.gov. While this is pretty cool, there isn't an easy way to explore and find what sort of data is up there unless you already know exactly what you're looking for.
We created a tool that lets you explore a "tag cloud" of related data sets and see what sort of information is available -- under the premise that giving people the tools to see what's out there could help people think up creative uses for this data.
This site was created as part of the Aaron Swartz memorial hackathon.
